About the role
You will take end-to-end ownership of Vestiaire Collectives carbon agenda reporting to the Impact Director. You will be responsible for evolving and executing our global climate strategy aligning it with international best practices and stakeholder expectations while embedding it into our business and operations context.
This is a cross-functional role with direct impact on our long-term environmental performance risk management and corporate leadership in sustainability. It focuses on but does not limit itself to Vestiaires climate strategy: initiatives are encouraged and valued.
What you will do
Climate strategy
Update our annual carbon footprint and monitor the execution of our carbon mitigation strategy.
Embed carbon KPIs in core operational teams (logistics tech packaging sourcing) and co-develop targets and accountability structures.
Lead the evolution of our long-term climate vision and strategic roadmap with a specific focus on monetization of avoided impacts.
Lead the refinement and scalability of our avoided emissions methodology contributing to our differentiated impact narrative.
Provide recommendations on our climate-related strategy risks opportunities and disclosure requirements.
Be at the forefront of emerging topics such as environmental impacts of AI or carbon credits for circularity.
ESG reporting
Deliver smoothly the annual ESG data requests for our investors and internal contributors
Build mutually beneficial relation with ESG leads of our investors to support our roadmap delivery
Communication & Influence
Communicate and raise awareness internally and externally on our carbon footprint progress & challengesRepresent Vestiaire Collective at relevant industry forums working groups and policy platforms
Who you are
Masters degree (Engineering Environmental Science Sustainability or equivalent).
6 years of experience in carbon strategy sustainability consulting or corporate climate leadership ideally in a global organization.
Expertise in GHG accounting methodologies
Proven experience leading enterprise-wide sustainability or carbon programs including governance stakeholder management and communications.
Strong data acumen: ability to interpret and communicate environmental data to technical and non-technical audiences.
Experienced in interfacing with senior leadershipFluent in French and EnglishPurpose-driven mindset with strong collaborative spirit.
SQL basics is a plus
