The Role
Based in the heart of Central Australia this is a rare opportunity to contribute to the day-to-day output of the Alice Springs station in various ways producinglocal radio programs and creating engaging online content for a local andnationalaudience.
The Job
This is a full-time twelve month contract role and will see you:
- Provide in-studio production support and manage talk-back callers and guests.
- Contribute to the implementation of the Local Emergency Coverage plan.
- Create local content that can be shared with other content teams across the ABC.
- Cross promote other ABC content to increase audience engagement.
Position Description:PROGRAM
About You
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic individual with demonstrated ability to produce editorial content clearly and accurately.
In this key role you will also bring:
- Accomplished program making skills with a proven ability to develop and make original and engaging audio and cross-platform content for target audience.
- Sound editorial skills including the ability to source and analyse information.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent skills and experience.
