Nursery Room Leader

Are you a passionate and dedicated early years professional looking to take the next step in your career Lightwater Village School is seeking a Nursery Room Leader to oversee the development and daily management of our nurturing and engaging nursery environment.

Your Opportunity

In this key role you will ensure that children aged 2-5 thrive in a safe caring and stimulating setting while building strong partnerships with parents carers and professionals. If you are committed to delivering high-quality teaching implementing best practices and fostering a love of learning we would love to hear from you!

What were looking for:

• Early Years Level 3 qualification
• GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English
• Current paediatric First Aid certificate
• Basic food hygiene certificate
• Up to date safeguarding training
• Strong teaching experience in Early Years with a clear understanding of current pedagogy
• Experience working in a nursery or school setting
• Experience managing and working within a team
• Ability to establish and communicate clear standards and expectations
• Ability to manage and develop resources to support child development
• High standard of written and oral communication

About Lightwater Village School

Our School sits within a newly established cluster of Primary schools overseen by a Regional Director. Along with our cluster includes the following other schools; Springfield Primary School Hammond Junior School Lightwater Village School Cordwalles Junior School Pine Ridge Infant School Lorraine Infant School .

The Details

Salary:26272 FTE

Pay Scale:Specialist Point 1

Actual Salary:25112.94

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 4.30pm 40hrs a week(39 weeks incl. INSET)
