Responsibilities
- Enforce safe systems of work ensure accountability for health and safety and provide appropriate PPE and safe working environments
- Guarantee that employees are properly trained informed and supervised to carry out their duties safely
- Strive for zero injuries through proactive safety measures full incident investigations and compliance with internal and external standards
- Manage Quality Control systems including site-manufactured batches and maintenance of electronic QC records per ISO standards
- Supervise staff: hiring training performance evaluation disciplinary actions and professional development
- Own and maintain the Site Quality Plan in alignment with regional and corporate quality requirements
- Monitor and report key quality metrics (e.g. batches OTMIS complaints) and drive improvements in product quality and process performance
- Lead audits resolve non-conformities support continuous improvement efforts and provide cross-functional assistance in problem-solving and training
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Operations Management Chemistry or equivalent education and experience
- Quality certification or license is preferred
- Minimum of five years progressive experience in manufacturing including supervisory roles
- Strong knowledge of quality management principles and implementation of related programs and policies
- Experienced in investigating and resolving complex product and operational issues
- Experienced in cross-departmental collaboration and leading quality-related activities
- Proficient in auditing report analysis and interpreting relevant regulations and internal policies
- Competent in Microsoft Office and other relevant software; strong communication skills for team coordination
