Reporting to the Senior Project Manager you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop implement and maintain project plans schedules and control processes.

Responsibilities:
- Develop implement and maintain project schedules using scheduling software.
- Facilitate the tracking of project milestones and financial deadlines ensuring alignment with project objectives.
- Lead regular schedule reviews and identify risks proposing mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Establish and monitor project budgets track productivity and conduct financial updates as required.
- Facilitate and participate in project audits.
- Analyze cost variances provide forecasts and recommend corrective actions to maximize profitability.
- Develop and maintain a risk management plan ensuring mitigation strategies are effectively implemented.
- Collaborate with project managers engineers contractors and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on objectives.
- Facilitate project meetings and support strategic planning efforts to optimize schedules and budgets.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports highlighting progress cost and schedule performance.
- Support management of change activities including change orders directives and claims.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure timely communication with all stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- 8 years of experience in Project Controls with a major contractor supporting large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management or a related field.
- Experience with a collaborative and progressive contracting model such as CMAR or Alliance with a Target Price commercial structure in infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in project controls planning scheduling and cost management.
- Strong understanding of construction costs budgets and schedules.
- Experience with engineering and construction-based cost systems including productivity performance measurement and progress tracking.
- Senior-level planning experience producing construction plans and schedules using Primavera P6 and TILOS scheduling software.
- Familiarity with JDE ERP and In-Eight project management software preferred.
- Expertise with project management tools and financial tracking systems.
- Facilitation and mentoring skills with the ability to lead teams forward and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Strong analytical organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:
- Site based position in Whitby Ontario.
- Occasional travel to downtown Toronto office will be required for the duration of the project.
