Job Description

Are you currently pursuing an engineering degree and identify as a First Nations student

Ventia is offering an exciting opportunity for an Undergraduate Asset Engineer to join our team supporting the Sydney Harbour Tunnel and the Western Harbour Tunnel contract based at our North Sydney office.

In this role youll be actively involved in the implementation of our Asset Management System. This includes contributing to asset management strategies collecting and verifying asset data performing analysis and assisting with maintenance and inspection programsgaining valuable hands-on experience at an entry level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the implementation and continuous improvement of asset management systems
  • Support monthly audits of completed maintenance activities
  • Participate in quarterly tunnel closures to assist with inspections
  • Help prepare reports and presentations including O&M monthly reports performance dashboards and condition assessments
  • Contribute to change management initiatives across projects and maintenance teams
  • Review subcontractor reports and support defect management strategies

About You

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate Engineering degree
  • Strong IT and computer skills especially in Microsoft Excel
  • Prior experience in infrastructure roads or tunnels is valued but not essential
