The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a first line Verification Integration and Test Team Manager to support the B-52J Commercial Engine Replacement Program (CERP) in Oklahoma City OK. The selected candidate will lead the team responsible for activities in verification integration and test leading up to Critical Design Review and into the EMD phase of the program.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead a team of systems engineers and technical professionals with responsibility authority and oversight for systems integration and verification
Work closely with other engineering functions program management and external customers. Interfacing engineering and other shared resources such as mission assurance software hardware IT and supplier teams as required
Support project planning and status activities including proposals estimates scheduling and business systems status inputs for multiple contracts and deliveries
Evaluates business requirements against cost schedule and technical constraints.
Understand support and apply agile principles practices and processes
Manage expectations performance and compensation of direct reports
Coach employees on technical functional team skills and career goals
Support hiring activities staff forecasting and staffing to plan
Provide support to control account managers (CAMs) to manage cost schedule and execution of all programs and cost accounts within the team
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. top secret clearance Post Start is required.
BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Systems Engineering Software Engineering or related STEM field
3 years of experience leading engineering teams
5 years of experience in systems engineering systems integration software engineering electrical engineering certification network security and/or cybersecurity
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with Systems Engineering Best Practices and Processes
Experience in developing and executing integration/test plans and procedures
Experience working with the Systems Engineering Lifecycle including System Requirements Reviews Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews Test Readiness Reviews and/or Technical Working Groups
Experience using artifact management tools such as CMPro DOORS and Cameo
Experience as a CAM (cost account manager) in EVM (earned value management)
