Barren County Area Technology Center in Glasgow Kentucky has an opening for an Information Technology Instructor. The position is located at the Barren County Area Technology Center.
This position will be anMOA position at Barren County ATC.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teach occupational preparatory classes within a career and technical education program
Perform other duties as required.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must hold the Rank III Kentucky teaching certificate in the subject area to be taught;
OR
Must hold a Kentucky Statement of Eligibility in the subject area to be taught;
OR
Four years of appropriate work experience two of which must be in the last five years.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to acquire the personal national certifications applicable to the program area (ACert NCCER ABC AGC ASE). Applicant can be hired without the needed personal certifications but must acquire the needed certification at the next available testing period.
In accordance with KRS 161.220 the applicant selected for this position will become a member of the Teachers Retirement System.
Applicants and employees in this classification may be required to submit to a drug screening test and background check.
Salary: Dependent on rank and experience.
