Alta View Surgery Center is looking for a Central Processing Tech / Sterilizer to join their team! Sign-on Bonus is being offered!
Alta View Surgery Center is a multi-specialty ASC that focuses on ENT Ophthalmology and Gastroenterology procedures across their 4 ORs and 4 Procedure Rooms. This position is responsible for ensuring that all surgical supplies instruments and equipment are properly inventoried decontaminated assembled inspected packaged sterilized stored distributed and tracked in a quality / timely manner throughout the surgery center. Will train to perform these duties independently and without close supervision.
Job Essentials:
- Disassemble clean decontaminate and disinfect surgical instruments.
- Assemble protect wrap contain peel pack and label surgical instruments.
- Sterile instruments and equipment
- Pull case carts.
- Clean troubleshoot and correctly use CP equipment.
- Perform and record all biological and chemical sterilization tests.
- Issue and receive durable moveable clinical equipment.
- Issue sterile supplies to using areas.
- Perform inventory duties as required.
- Verify that all sterilization processes have been completed and met parameters before making equipment available for use.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must attain Central Processing Certification from HSPA (Healthcare Sterile Processing Association) within one year of hire date.
*Bonus eligibility: Full-time employment only and must remain in full-time status throughout employment. Other bonus requirements will be outlined in your offer letter.
