Business Development Manager Connectus Utilities
Location: Hybrid (Leicester)
Hours: 37.5 (Monday Friday)

Do you sell utility connections disconnections metering or diversions
Have experience in B2B partner or channel sales within the utilities space
Looking to join a fast-growing brand where your impact is immediate and rewarded

At Connectus Utilities part of the Consultus family we deliver multi-utility coordination and project management across electricity gas water telecoms sewerage and more. We take care of all connections upgrades and disconnections -helping our clients simplify complex infrastructure challenges.

Were now looking for a Business Development Manager - someone who knows this space and is ready to make things happen - to join our team. Youll be part of an established multi-award-winning energy and sustainability consultancy working with some of the biggest and most iconic brands in the world!

About the role

This role focuses on building strategic relationships and selling our utility coordination and project management services into the construction and built environment sector.

Youll work closely with partners such as developers builders architects and M&E consultants; supporting them on new build and redevelopment projects by delivering expert solutions for connections disconnections and more.

Your ability to understand the needs of these stakeholders build trust and translate that into commercial success will be key.

What youll be doing

  • Selling our coordination services across:

    • New Connections

    • Disconnections

    • Utility Supply Upgrades

    • Metering

    • Asset Planning

    • Diversions

    • HV Substation Management

  • Building and nurturing relationships with partners and key stakeholders

  • Driving pipeline growth through outreach and network engagement

  • Creating tailored proposals and quotations

  • Collaborating closely with internal delivery and marketing teams

  • Supporting cross-sell opportunities across the broader Consultus group

What were looking for

  • Sales-hungry proactive creative and customer focused sales professionals

  • You must have experience selling services in the utility space

  • Strong understanding of how the construction and built environment sector works

  • Commercially aware and target-driven

  • Strong communicator with the ability to influence senior decision-makers

  • Comfortable managing your own pipeline and building trust from first contact
