Job Title:
Clerk (Material Planning and Logistics Department)
Basic Purpose:
Provide administrative support for Warehouse Operations in Finished Goods.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow up on Material Planning and Logistics (MP&L) requirements as per Customer direction confirm shipments (ASNs) complete paperwork for each Customer and follow up with Supervisor for abnormalities.
- Create Operational Flow Charts Procedures and Work Instructions for Metrics reporting to Management.
- Create process and track requisitions / BPCS entries / reporting P&L Reports / GL Corrections.
- Conduct internal safety audits MSDS Compliance Support and OSHA Compliance support.
- Support in Physical Inventories activities twice a year or per Company directions.
- Receiving and Shipping Documents / Cycle Count Documents / Maintaining Record Retention Reports.
- Issuance of 8D reports investigation and analysis process.
- Track and manage receiving and shipping reports create BOLs PLs etc.
- Resolve receiving and inventory discrepancies / create and issue DNRs to Manufacturing Plants.
- Other duties and/or activities as assigned by Department Manager or Company requirements.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5-7 years clerical experience in a warehouse operation setting.
- Strong mathematical skills required.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel Word Outlook and inventory management systems)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills required.
- Team player and positive attitude
