You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Sexual & Reproductive Health Clinic is looking for a skilled motivated and enthusiastic Medical Assistant who is committed to a team approach serving men women and teens to provide high quality sexual and reproductive health and education services. The Medical Assistant works as a paraprofessional performing delegated patient care functions under the clinical direction of an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) and under the supervision of a Personal Health Services Supervisor (PHSS). The primary focus of this position is providing family planning care including: birth control pregnancy options counseling abortion referrals and STD diagnosis and treatment to male and female patients. Additional duties vary and can include: immunizations phlebotomy medication administration injections and data entry into tracking systems.
Medical Assistants work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary clinic team that interacts with the public and community partners while delivering quality healthcare services to racially ethnically and socio economically diverse populations. Medical Assistants perform administrative support duties conduct education and outreach activities research various topics and information conduct assessments and are expected to regularly adapt their role/tasks in order to maximize clinic efficiency and flow.

Necessary Special Requirements
Work Schedule
This is a Career Service position 1.0 FTE 40 hours per week. Monday Tuesday Thursday and Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Wednesdays from 9:00am to 6:00pm. However in an effort to meet our clients needs this position will be required to work outside these hours and may include Saturday hours.
This is a non-exempt position and eligible for overtime.
Work Location
This position is located at Eastgate Public Health Center 14350 SE Eastgate Way Bellevue WA 98007. This position may be required to work at various Public Health Centers and sites throughout King County.
Employees must reside in Washington state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements.
