We are seeking a hands-on and experienced General Manager Production & Service to lead our operational functions based at our Belmont headquarters.
Reporting directly to the President this is a key leadership role responsible for managing Tricons workshop production service and logistics teams. You will ensure seamless day-to-day operations deliver high-quality service to clients and drive continuous improvement across performance safety and customer satisfaction.
This role is suited to someone who thrives in a structured yet dynamic environment with strong leadership problem-solving and operational planning capabilities.
Lead mentor and support production field service and logistics teams in delivering daily operations
Oversee production scheduling resource planning and equipment maintenance to meet quality and delivery standards
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety efficiency quality and cost-effectiveness
Monitor KPIs and ensure alignment with operational and strategic business objectives
Maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers to support service excellence and retention
Manage inventory control logistics coordination and workflow optimisation using ERP and digital systems
Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with WHS and QA/QC standards
Minimum 5 years experience in a production operations or service management role ideally within manufacturing or heavy industry
Proven ability to lead inspire and develop high-performing teams
Solid technical knowledge or trade background; experience with mechanical equipment or rock drilling tools highly regarded
Excellent planning problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/inventory management systems
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering Manufacturing or Operations Management are desirable but not essential with strong practical experience
