About the Role
Ventia is looking for a skilled Project Finance Manager to lead key financial processes reporting and team development while driving business performance. This is a full-time permanent position based in Mitcham.
As a key member of the leadership team this role will enhance financial performance for the project by partnering with operational stakeholders to drive efficient day-to-day processes providing management with sound data and analysis to facilitate decision-making and performing routine budgeting forecasting and management reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team in maintaining the integrity of the general ledger sub-ledgers and financial reporting systems in line with company policies and required timelines. This includes revenue recognition cost accruals and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Monitor and optimise performance against targets including revenue EBITDA net working capital and operating cash flow.
- Prepare analysis and reporting to meet internal and client financial reporting requirements and support decision-making. For example developing financial and operational Power BI dashboards monthly performance reviews (variance analysis) KPI data calculation and reporting.
- Participate in regular contract reviews and provide insights into contract performance risk and opportunities and improvement initiatives.
- Perform annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
- Collaborate with client contacts to resolve queries and complete deliverables in a timely and efficient manner.
- Drive continuous improvement in the completion of end-to-end processes including purchase to pay order to cash recruit to onboard and payroll.
- Lead and develop direct reports harnessing individual and team capabilities to deliver project outcomes.
