Job Description
The SAP Project Manager will support the ERP Program Manager in overseeing the implementation and management of SAP projects within the organization. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong project management skills in-depth knowledge of SAP and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
This is an on-site role at 100 Citigate Drive Ottawa ON.
Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive project plans including timelines milestones resource allocation and risk management strategies.
Monitor project progress and performance ensuring projects are delivered on time within scope and within budget.
Analyze and design SAP Landscape reviews
Analyze risk establish contingency plans and identify trigger events and responsibilities for initiating mitigating action.
Lead and manage project teams providing guidance support and motivation.
Manage relationships with project stakeholders including internal and external clients
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including business leaders IT teams keeping stakeholders informed of progress and issues to manage expectations on all project requirements and deliverables.
Ensure proper use of methodology tools and procedures.
Maintain project KPIs and analytics
Ensure proper governance is in place to best meet project objectives.
Maintain accurate project documentation including status reports meeting minutes and change requests.
Provide regular updates to the ERP Program Manager and other stakeholders on project status risks and issues.
Prepare and present project reports dashboards and presentations as required.
Plan and lead comprehensive end-user acceptance testing and integration testing
Evaluate complex situations accurately and identify viable solutions that create successful outcomes for the customer.
Provide support and guidance on change management processes
Provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure successful adoption and utilization of SAP solutions.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in information technology Business Administration or a related field.
PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP project management with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
In-depth knowledge of SAP modules and implementation methodologies.
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering practical solutions.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
