Our challenge

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Generative AI Engineer to join our AI/ML team. In this role candidate will design and implement cutting-edge Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines fine-tune large language models (LLMs) and build scalable ML services that solve real-world business problems.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other accordance with law the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte NC is $110k - $120k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Design and implementRAG pipelinescombining vector search embedding models and LLMs.

• Integrate and fine-tuneLLMsfor domain-specific applications.

• Develop and maintainPython-based ML services and APIsfor production use.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business challenges into GenAI-powered solutions.

• Evaluate monitor and optimizemodel performanceandretrieval quality.

Requirements:

• 5 to 8 yearsof experience in software development with strong proficiency inPython.

• Hands-on experience withLLMsRAG architecture and ML frameworks such as:

  • Hugging Face Transformers

  • LangChain

  • FAISS

  • Scikit-learn

• Solid understanding of:

  • Embedding techniques

  • Prompt engineering

  • Model deployment and serving

• Familiarity withcloud platformslikeAzureAWS orGCP.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment.

Preferred but not required:

• Experience with containerization (Docker Kubernetes).

• Exposure to MLOps tools and practices.

• Background in NLP or Information Retrieval.
