Position Overview
The Regional Procurement team located in Uhrichsville Ohio is seeking a Procurement Operations Lead! The Procurement Operations Leader ensures the effective supply of raw materials direct and indirect goods and services to the Manufacturing facilities with a strong focus on Safety Quality Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Innovation. The POL identifies risks to operations across the suppliers value chains and defines mitigating actions. The Procurement Operations Lead is also responsible for the effective management of the manufacturing units Sustaining Capital Expenditures. Responsibilities
Manages the effective and efficient supply of direct and indirect materials and services to the manufacturing units in scope. Provides Supplier Quality and Relationship Management services to the plant resolving any quality related issues from existing suppliers and offering new supplier opportunities to drive competition and/or resolve new sourcing needs.
- Delivers on the Total Cost of Ownership targets for the manufacturing units in scope within the Variable OpEx Spend.
- Executes Sustaining CapEx Projects to support operations.
- Defines and implements effective supplier relationship programs. Program to include performance metrics and scorecards.
Delivers Lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) Pipeline Savings and Spend management for the manufacturing unit in scope with a minimum target of 5% reduction in annual spend.
- Delivers excellence in Procurement Operational Execution through adherence to Procurement and Company Policies Business Code of Conduct Delegation of Authority Supplier Code of Conduct etc.
Minimum qualifications
- BS/BA Degree in Business Engineering Supply Chain or similar. MBA a Plus.
Minimum 5 Years of Sourcing or Procurement Experience. Broad Strategic and Applicable Experience in an Industrial/Manufacturing Organization preferred.
Strong Leadership and People Development skills. Able to work cross-functionally within a Manufacturing environment.
- Experienced in Negotiation and Commercial Terms Management.
- Strong quantitative project management and data analysis skills. CPM and Green Belt certification preferred.
Exhibits strong sense of ownership driving results. Able to influence and thrive in a Team environment.
- High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plus
- Willing to be onsite 5 days per week
Preferred qualifications
- MBA a Plus
- Able to work cross-functionally within a Manufacturing environment
- Communication alignment and management of metrics to support seamless collaboration between plant procurement teams and business objectives

Location Profile
Opened in 1985 the Uhrichsville facility produces flat rolled aluminum sheet. The rolling mill cold rolls aluminum sheet to a desired gauge anneals to temper levels and slits the rolled sheet to size. Employing more than 350 people the facility produces aluminum sheet for building and construction automotive distribution transportation and consumer durable applications.
