Traveling Periodontics Assistant - $1,000 sign-on bonus!

Join our dynamic and thriving dental practice as a Dental Assistant! At Great Expressions Dental Centers were seeking an energetic and motivated individual to join our team and positively impact our patients oral health. This is a traveling position with the following schedule:

• Monday: Stuart 6035 SE Federal Hwy Stuart FL 34997

• Every other Tuesday: Weston 4537 Weston Rd Weston FL 33331

• One Tuesday a month: Palm Beach Gardens 11682 U.S. Hwy 1 N North Palm Beach FL 33408

• Thursday: Boynton Beach 930 N Congress Ave Suite #200 Boynton Beach FL 33426

• Friday: Coconut Creek 4660 W Hillsboro Blvd #7 Coconut Creek FL 33073

Mileage reimbursement is provided.

Responsibilities:

• Assist our experienced dental team in providing exceptional patient care
• Prepare treatment rooms sterilize instruments and ensure a clean and organized environment
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care
• Support dentists during procedures anticipating their needs and ensuring smooth workflow
• Perform basic dental procedures under the guidance of a licensed dentist
• Manage appointment scheduling and maintain patient records accurately

Qualifications:

• Previous dental assisting experience or relevant education is preferred but were willing to train the right candidate.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
• Strong communication skills and a friendly compassionate demeanor
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in dental software and technology is a plus

Requirements:

Before applying it is imperative that you meet the state requirements outlined below.

• Connecticut: certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
• Florida: Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to expose X-rays).
• Georgia: CPR Certification Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
• Massachusetts: CPR Certification proof of formal training to expose X-rays BORID certification and annual CE requirements must be completed per state regulations.
• Michigan: Upon hiring you are required to furnish evidence of X-ray training certification. If you do not possess certification at the time of hiring you are granted an 8-week period to submit it.
• New Jersey: Proof of X-ray training.
• New York: Not applicable.
• Ohio: Proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to Expose X-rays)
• Texas: CPR Certification TSBDE: TX State Board of Dental Examiners.
