What You Need to Apply:
Masters Degree in the Behavioral Health Sciences or related discipline
LCSW or LPC required
CCS required at hire or obtained shortly thereafter with specialized training
Five years of clinical experience working with psychiatric and co-occurring disorders
Valid NJ drivers license with a clean 5-year driving record meeting agency standards
Position Overview:
The Clinical Care Systems Director of Operations provides administrative and clinical leadership for the Outpatient and Community Support Services (CSS) programs. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations providing clinical supervision ensuring quality assurance maintaining compliance with state and federal guidelines and supporting ongoing staff development.
Key Responsibilities:
The Director provides clinical supervision to staff delivering behavioral health and substance use services and oversees the implementation of Motivational Interviewing (MI) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Universal Substance Abuse Screening. The position ensures that evidence-based treatment approaches and best practices are consistently utilized across programs. This includes conducting and overseeing chart reviews clinical care reviews and performance improvement initiatives. The Director is also responsible for monitoring employee productivity service delivery and documentation timelines.
In this role the Director supervises Program Directors and support staff within the Outpatient and CSS programs coordinates interdisciplinary care and upholds high standards for client engagement and treatment planning. Additional duties include preparing and managing contracts and budgets ensuring compliance with state and federal reporting requirements and participating in leadership and program development meetings. The Director also collaborates with the Human Resources billing and finance departments on operational issues and provider credentialing represents the agency in county and state-level clinical programming meetings and ensures HIPAA compliance while overseeing requests for records and documentation standards.
