The Department of Public Health Sciences at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry is recruiting tenure-track faculty at the level of Assistant Associate or Full Professor of health services research health policy or health outcomes.
The University of Rochester is well known for its excellent collaborative and interdisciplinary environment. Ample opportunities in research educational and community-based programs are available in the department as well as through the Aging Institute Center for Surgical Health Outcomes & Reaching for Equity (SHORE) Wilmont Cancer Institute the Del Monte Neuroscience Institute and the Center for Community Health & Prevention amongst others.
The successful candidate is expected to attract andmaintainextramural research supportdemonstrateexcellence in teaching and mentoring in the extensive training programs in the Department and University and expand research partnerships within the university and community. All applicants must hold a doctoral degree in Health Services Research (PhD ScD MD or equivalent) or in a closely related field with a strong emphasis on research design and methods and withexpertisein health policy payment reforms outcomes assessment and/or cost-effectiveness analysis. Applicants should have an established record of peer-reviewed publications and a demonstrated ability to obtain extramural funding.
