Summary /Objective
The hotel desk agent greets and welcomes guests to the establishment and make them feel comfortable in their environment.
Essential Functions
1. Greets and welcomes guests with a smile.
2. Assign room and keys( Never giving out room number out loud)
3. Maintains room availability.
4. Collects and distributes cash handling for hotel
5. Prepares bills and collects payment for visits
6. Assists in solving billing discrepancies .
7. Answer inquiries regarding hotel area and services.
8. Secure patrons valuables in the safe.
9. Provides suggestions of places to visits eat and shop.
10. Answering phone is using correct brand verbiage .
11. Maintains hotel records .
12. Insure the safety of our guests property assets; never open door for guests who forgot their key (redirect them back to the front desk)

This position has no supervisory responsibilities and reports to front office manager.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional hotel/ public environment . This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers phones photocopiers scanner chip reader ( credit card machine) and fax machines.
