Walsall Council is a dedicated and person-centred organisation committed to providing high-quality adult social care services within the borough. We believe in empowering individuals to live fulfilling and independent lives and we are looking for a team of Social Care Facilitators to create a new dedicated duty will receive a robust induction into the role and the team will have daily duty management support to oversee the work. Monthly 1:1 supervision is provided as well as support from the wider social care teams.
About the Role:
As a Social Care Facilitator in the duty team you will be the first point of contact for a range of enquiries and urgent situations arising within our adult social care services. You will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and appropriate responses facilitating effective communication and contributing to the smooth running of our daily operations. This is a rewarding role that requires excellent communication assessment and decision-making skills as well as a strong understanding of adult social care principles and legislation.

This role is office based within the Civic Centre in Walsall although there may be flexibility for hybrid working following an induction period.
