About You

This is a brilliant opportunity to play a key role in shaping a fair supportive and people-focused culture at Birmingham City Council. As part of the Employee Relations team youll lead on delivering proactive ER solutions supporting formal case outcomes and championing best practice around sickness absence reasonable adjustments and policy change. Youll work closely with managers graduates and apprentices guiding and coaching them to build capability and confidence in managing complex employee matters.

In this strategic and hands-on role youll manage the Occupational Health admin team and lead the ER contribution to major initiativesturning insight into action and driving improvement across the organisation. If youre passionate about employment law experienced in unionised environments and thrive in a fast-paced setting where your advice directly shapes outcomes this is your chance to influence change and support the Council in delivering excellence through its people.
