What we are looking for:
Applications are invited for the position of Classroom Teacher to join the staff of St Marys Catholic Primary School Mackay.
Join the teaching staff of St Marys in one of the following positions:
- Year 3 Teacher - full-time contractcommencing 14 July 2025 until 19 September 2025.
- Year 5 Teacher - part-time (0.6FTE) contract commencing Term 3 until 18 January 2026.
Applications are welcome from anyone who would support the schools ethos and possess the followingare encouraged to apply:
- Relevant tertiary qualification (or eligible to graduate)
- Evidence of successfully passing the Literacy and Numeracy Test for Initial Teacher Education Students
- Appropriate qualities knowledge and skills to provide a relevant and holistic education
- Eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
- A desire to serve the communities located within the diocese of Rockhampton

Mandatory Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and the ability to obtain approved Queensland College of Teachers Registration
