Transform the future of data center infrastructure by leading strategic real estate development initiatives that power global technology expansion.
As a Real Estate Development Manager youll play a pivotal role in shaping our data center portfolio driving innovative solutions that support state of the art technological infrastructure. Your expertise will be critical in identifying evaluating and executing complex real estate projects that enable our continued global growth.
Your day will be dynamic and collaborative involving strategic planning project management and cross-functional communication. Youll navigate complex real estate landscapes engage with diverse stakeholders and transform conceptual plans into tangible infrastructure solutions. Each project presents unique challenges that require creative problem-solving and technical precision.
We are a collaborative group of professionals dedicated to expanding our technological footprint through strategic real estate development. Our team values innovation precision and the ability to anticipate future infrastructure needs. We work closely with global teams to create sustainable efficient data center solutions that support technological advancement.
This position may require up to 50% travel.
Key job responsibilities
- Partner with acquisition leads to evaluate negotiate and close strategic real estate deals
- Develop comprehensive project plans that balance technical requirements market demands and investment strategies
- Manage multidisciplinary teams of vendors consultants and contractors throughout project lifecycles
- Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends and value engineering opportunities
- Oversee project budgeting permitting and regulatory compliance to ensure successful project delivery

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design planning delivery and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words were the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers storage networking power and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain and were looking for talented people who want to help.

3 years experience managing analyzing and communicating results to senior management
Project management expertise with ability to handle multiple complex initiatives
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
Experience owning program strategy and end-to-end delivery
Proven experience in data center development or infrastructure management
Technical background in data center construction and operations
Experience with $100M mission critical projects
Experience working with/for other Hyperscalers
