Montana State Hospital is seeking two compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our behavioral health team. As an LPN youll play a crucial role in supporting adult clients in a therapeutic environment while providing exceptional nursing care and contributing to the success of a multidisciplinary team.
What Youll Do:
Deliver nursing care assessments and medication administration to adult psychiatric patients
Assist with treatment planning and documentation
Support a safe therapeutic environment by guiding and mentoring subordinate nursing staff
Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients families and staff
Participate in the development of individualized care plans and provide accurate clinical evaluations
What You Bring:
Graduation from an accredited nursing program
Active LPN license in the state of Montana (or ability to obtain)
Knowledge of psychopharmacology treatment planning and patient rights
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Ability to work collaboratively and handle psychiatric inpatient situations professionally
Bonus: Experience in behavioral health or psychiatric settings is highly preferred
