Job Description

Regional Account Manager

Deer Oaks Behavioral Health is seeking a seasoned Regional Account Manager (RAM) to join our dynamic team and drive excellence in long-term care facility partnerships. This hybridposition requires the candidate to be located in either Cleveland OH or Akron OH with frequent travel within their assigned area of operations to market services meet with facilities and engage corporate partners. As a pivotal member of our regional management team you will serve as the primary point of contact for facility relationships ensuring high-quality service delivery and proactive engagement. This role is designed for a driven professional who excels in relationship management business development and problem-solving within the long-term care sector. Reporting to the Regional Director of Business Development you will focus on retaining and expanding business addressing performance issues and growing service utilization.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Relationship Management:
Build and sustain strong trusted relationships with key stakeholders including facility administrators directors of nursing and social services directors.
Conduct regular on-site visits to foster client satisfaction and ensure seamless service delivery.
Proactively address facility concerns and maintain high responsiveness to client needs.

Operational Excellence:
Monitor referral volumes and caseload utilization identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
Oversee clinical assignments and ensure effective communication between clinical and facility staff.
Act as the primary liaison for facility-related issues resolving them promptly and effectively.
Manage in-service education programs and attend facility care team meetings to strengthen partnerships.

Business Development:

Partner with regional business development staff to drive new business initiatives and expand existing service lines.
Develop and execute strategic plans to improve underperforming facilities.
Represent Deer Oaks at industry events building a network within the long-term care and mental health sectors.

Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with recruiting teams to attract and onboard top-tier clinical talent.
Work with the Regional Clinical Manager to ensure staffing and scheduling align with facility needs.
Contribute to clinician retention strategies ensuring a cohesive and engaged team.

Corporate Communications:
Provide regular updates to executive management on significant issues and opportunities.
Assist in reviewing and developing facility contracts to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in long-term care: Minimum of 2 years in a similar setting with a track record of success in account management or business development.
Educational background: College degree preferred; a combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered.
Leadership skills: Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Interpersonal excellence: Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written.
Technical proficiency: Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel PowerPoint); Salesforce experience is a plus.
Travel-ready: Willingness to travel frequently within the region.
