Job Title: Inventory Control Clerk
Location: Onsite - San Leandro CA
Schedule: 1st Shift Monday - Friday Start times between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM
Pay Rate: Up to $25.00/hour

Are you detail-oriented with a passion for accuracy and organizationJoin the team as an Inventory Control Clerk and play a key role in ensuring smooth operations and inventory integrity.
About the Role:
In this position youll be responsible for performing daily cycle counts maintaining inventory accuracy investigating discrepancies and collaborating across departments to improve stock processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily physical cycle counts following company guidelines
- Update and reconcile inventory data using internal systems
- Investigate and resolve inventory variances
- Work closely with production warehouse and logistics teams
- Assist with full inventory audits and reporting
- Suggest and implement improvements to inventory procedures
- Ensure FIFO or company-specific inventory methods are followed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in storage areas
- Identify and report damaged or obsolete stock
- Comply with safety protocols and wear the required protective equipment
- Follow regulatory guidelines for food safety and inventory documentation
What Were Looking For:
- Flexibilityto adapt to changing tasks and start times (between 4 AM - 6 AM daily)
- Experiencein inventory control or cycle counting; food production environment preferred
- Attention to detailwith strong problem-solving skills
- Proficiencywith inventory software and Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook)
- Team playerwith excellent communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to work in cold storage and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Weekend availabilityrequired as needed
- Willingness to complete site-specific training (Alchemy Safety Training System)
