On behalf of DESMI MARPRO Group is looking for a Area Sales Manager Marine for the office in Nrresundby. You will report to the Global Country Manager of the company.
The job
As Area Sales Manager you will play a key role in driving sales activities in the Nordic maritime market focusing on DESMIs energy optimization system OptiSave as well as pumps and related solutions. Your target customers include shipowners shipyards and maritime companies in Denmark Iceland Greenland the Faroe Islands and Finland. With a strong technical profile and marine sales experience you will cultivate trust-based relationships with clients and distributors. You will be actively on the move with more than 60 travel days a year. You will join a highly skilled and independent sales team.
Professional qualifications
- Technical background or education or alternatively relevant work experience (e.g. Marine Engineer Mechanical Engineer Dual Officer Navigator or similar)
- Motivation to work with technical sales
- Knowledge of the maritime industry
- Ability to prepare and negotiate technical and commercial proposals
- Skilled in coordinating with internal departments and external partners
- Proficient in Danish and English (spoken and written)
