Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate Director to lead Molding Excellence initiatives across a network of manufacturing plants. This role is responsible for driving continuous improvement advancing operational excellence and building a culture focused on safety quality delivery and cost efficiency.
This is a high-impact hands-on leadership position requiring significant time on the manufacturing floor. The ideal candidate will be located near or willing to relocate to a key manufacturing site in NJ UT SC or CT.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead strategy development and deployment for Molding Excellence across manufacturing locations.
Establish strategic alignment by cascading KPIs and defining a roadmap toward maturity.
Promote internal and external benchmarking to drive a zero-loss culture.
Coach and mentor Operational Excellence (OpEx) managers and teams across multiple sites.
Facilitate capability-building initiatives Kaizen events and structured problem-solving programs.
Develop standardized reporting and tracking metrics across molding sites.
Partner with site and business unit leaders to implement cost-to-win (CtW) strategies.
Drive measurable improvements in OEE/OLE waste reduction and labor productivity.
Ensure the sustainable application of Lean Six Sigma and other CI methodologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Engineering Business or related field (Master s preferred).
Minimum 10 years of manufacturing experience including 3 years in production system deployment.
Deep knowledge of injection molding operations.
Proven success in implementing Lean and Six Sigma principles across multi-site environments.
Strong business acumen and the ability to link CI initiatives to business outcomes.
Experience working in matrixed multicultural environments.
Willingness to travel up to 75 including international travel 30.
Must reside or be willing to relocate near a primary manufacturing site.
Technical Skills & Competencies:
Expertise in operational excellence systems and deployment.
Strong problem-solving coaching and training skills.
Experience developing work standards and capability frameworks.
Clear understanding of customer service impact through CI.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Proven project/program management experience.

Base Salary: $157700 $181000
