Work Schedule: Monday Friday Work Location: On-site/In-person
Great Basin Staffing LLC is currently seeking a Skilled Sheet Metal Fabrication Technician with a background in aerospace manufacturing. This is a full-time in-person position for a technician with precision sheet metal fabrication experience preferably within the aviation industry. The ideal candidate will be hands-on highly detail-oriented and capable of taking a lead role in production tasks.
Key Responsibilities:

Layout fabricate and assemble sheet metal components in accordance with customer specifications or aerospace standards

Interpret and work from plans technical drawings travelers and work specifications
-
Use a variety of tools and equipment including saws cutting machines hand tools power tools and metalworking machines

Perform tasks such as fitting joining fastening deburring drilling shaping and forming sheet metal components
-
Finish products and inspect to ensure compliance with quality safety and dimensional specifications

Coordinate with team members to move in-progress work forward and meet tight production schedules

Support production by participating in status and planning meetings

Communicate job progress clearly with coworkers and managers

Repair and maintain fabricated components as required

Assist in task scheduling and workflow coordination
Required Skills & Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or GED required
-
Minimum 5 years of aviation sheet metal experience

Solid understanding of aerospace practices procedures and industry standards

Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation

Strong attention to detail time management and quality standards
-
Ability to work collaboratively with other fabrication technicians and departments

Comfortable with multi-tasking and task delegation when needed
Compensation & Schedule:
-
Pay Range: $18.00 $20.00 per hour (based on experience and skill level)

Type: Full-time hourly

Schedule: Monday to Friday (with potential for overtime or weekend work based on production needs)
