Nurse Practitioner-Neonatology Permanent Role
- Location: College Station TX 77845
- Shift: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Guaranteed: 8 Hours
- Compensation: Based on experience.
Essential Functions of the Role: - Perform comprehensive or problem-focused physical exams and obtain medical histories.
- Order collect interpret and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions and health care needs.
- Prescribe or recommend drug therapies and therapeutic procedures in accordance with protocols ensuring safety efficacy and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
- Evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust care as needed.
- Counsel patients and families on medical conditions treatments medication nutrition and health promotion.
- Document patient care treatment plans and outcomes appropriately.
- Provide specialty consultations and referrals when a case exceeds scope or expertise.

- Skilled in patient and family education regarding treatments and lifestyle.
Licenses & Certifications (Required): Texas RN License or RN licensure with compact privileges
Current Nurse Practitioner License in Texas
Board Certification as one of the following:
- Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP-BC)
- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP-BC)
- Adult-Gerontology Acute Care NP (ACNPC-AG)
Basic Life Support (BLS) (within 30 days of hire or transfer)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (within 30 days of hire or transfer).
Qualifications: - Education: Graduate of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner Program
- Experience: Open to new graduates (Less than 1 Year Required).
