Job Description
Nurse Practitioner-Cardiology Permanent Role
- Location: Lakeway TX 78738
- Schedule: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Guaranteed: 40 Hours
- Compensation: Based on experience.
- Conduct detailed cardiovascular assessments including physical exams history taking and diagnostic interpretation.
- Develop and manage treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions.
- Order perform and interpret diagnostic tests including EKGs echocardiograms stress tests and lab work.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive cardiac care.
- Provide patient education related to disease management medications lifestyle modifications and preventive care.
- Document all clinical findings and decisions in the electronic medical record system accurately and timely.
- Assist in triaging urgent cardiology needs and manage inpatient consults if required.
- Maintain current knowledge of cardiology practice standards and guidelines.
Education:
-
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Experience:
-
Minimum 1 year of Nurse Practitioner experience in a cardiology or acute care setting.
Licensure & Certifications (Required):
- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) Certification.
- Registered Nurse (RN) Texas license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Must be obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer.
