Job Description
Within the Product Engineering department the main task would be to design and revise components with composite materials.
Main responsibilities:
Concept Generation.
3D Detailed modeling.
Detailed Drafting of part and assembly drawings following GD&T company drafting standards.
Create preliminary design analyses using hand calculations.
Material selection and laminate design.
- Shop floor support.
- Maintenance of current designs.
Participates in Design Reviews.
Participates in structural tests (destructive and non-destructive).
Provides support on other design tasks when needed.
Requirements:
Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering Aerospace Engineering or similar.
1-3 years of experience in components design.
Knowledge of 3D CAD software (Creo Parametric).
Knowledge of mechanical behavior of materials (stress-strain failure criteria fatigue etc.).
Knowledge of composite materials.
Good communication skills teamwork and proactivity.
Good English level written and spoken (B2 minimum).
o Needed for the daily communication with the broader team in the USA.
Good Spanish level or willingness to learn.
