Job Description

Visa is seeking a talented and driven Technical Product Marketing Analyst for our Value-Added Services Marketing Team. In this role you will bridge a critical gap that sits between product experts and creative storytellers and designers responsible for leading the effective communication of complex technical products to a wide range of audiences.

Your role will involve a blending product and payments knowledge with a keen ability to creatively translate technical information and concepts into compelling narratives that strengthen and deepen the messaging and materials we create. This role requires a dynamic individual who can quickly learn and understand our rapidly evolving market products and customer needs while capturing value and functionality and delivering adept storytelling that conveys a clear and convincing message.

As part of our team you will be at the forefront of our companys efforts to position our Risk and Identity Solutions effectively in the marketplace. You will also support the creation and delivery of our Global Sales Play narratives and assist our design and solution marketing teams in connecting and facilitating conversations at the intersection of product marketing sales and GTM activities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Acumen: Assist in understanding and articulating complex technical concepts and translating them into compelling marketing content sales enablement materials and solution narratives. Able to understand and validate the accuracy of demos and flow diagrams captured from technical teams. Experience working closely with engineering or product development teams is essential.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Drive initiatives within cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders across product management sales design marketing and engineering. Influence and drive consensus in a matrixed organization.
  • Research and Market Insights: Partner with our Competitive Intelligence and the Analyst Relation teams to help capture validate and incorporate findings to strengthen marketing collateral and product strategies.
  • Drive Meaningful Materials: Push teams to go deeper with concepts and messaging to connect with our audiences and enable product leaders and sellers who are taking our message to market.
  • Storytelling and Narrative Building: Assist in developing clear compelling narratives that highlight the value of Visas solutions effectively translating complex product strategies into relatable and persuasive stories. Think like a journalist to uncover insights ask the right questions and ensure our narratives are both impactful and relevant for sellers and buyers.
  • Strong Communicator: Effectively articulate messaging and communicate across a wide spectrum of stakeholders and leaders. Ability to ask great questions be a good listener communicate concisely and willing and able to speak up when clarification is required is a key to success.
  • Growth Mindset Life-long learner who continually stretches themselves to learn more and test their boundaries in risk payments and product knowledge. Comfortable with change and ambiguity and willing to actively pursue answers or ask questions to understand more.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.


Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD or PhD)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD)
  • Ideal candidates would have a Bachelors degree in Marketing Business Finance or IT related fields. MBA or Masters showing a strong mix of technical and marketing acumen preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in product marketing or product management within the payments industry with a focus on storytelling and creating sales collateral preferably with strong focus on risk management payments systems and identity verification solutions. Experience in FinTech or financial services is a plus.
  • Understanding of AI and Machine Learning concepts as well as payments systems API-based services and fraud and risk related to transaction monitoring or identity verification products. Comfortable with technical diagrams such as transaction flows use case and user flow diagrams
  • Proven ability to translate complex product strategies into clear compelling marketing materials that resonate with target audiences.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. A proactive learner with the ability to quickly adapt to changing market conditions and emerging technologies.   • Empathy and the ability to put yourself in the shoes of both sellers and buyers to create relevant and impactful marketing materials.


Additional Information :

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 84600.00 to 119650.00 USD per year which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge skills experience and location. In addition this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical Dental Vision 401 (k) FSA/HSA Life Insurance Paid Time Off and Wellness Program.
