The Market Access Value Proposition Manager will advocate for the payer perspective share payer insights and anticipate payer changes and unmet needs. He/she will propose market access strategies for the affiliates most influential payers to optimize brand value for all relevant brands placing the patient at the center of all efforts and operating in accordance with AbbVies code of conduct policies and all applicable laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Set up Market Access strategy for new and mature products (develop Business Cases and present for internal approval).
- Pricing for new and existing products in Greece Cyprus and Malta.
- Prepare HTA submissions and Nego strategy in line with agreed business objectives.
- Coordinate planning and assumptions PLN and LRP exercises (LRP GtN projections nego. assumptions etc)
- Part of the brand team in order to secure optimal cross functional collaboration with marketing medical and other functional leads
- External engagements with Social Security Fund (EOPYY) Ministry of Health and National Organizations of Medicines to understand the macro trends and secure the best possible positioning of AbbVies portfolio
- Analyze customize and transform economic and clinical data into simple compelling messages for payers regulators providers and budget holders in order to grant access and reimbursement.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Relevant experience with proven track record of success in pharmaceutical industry within commercial and medical functions and/or within healthcare payer/provider or academic institution
- Ability to manage cross functional projects
- Ability to analyze complex models and scientific data and draw out key messages
- Ability to interpret scientific and/or pharmaco-economic data to assess its relevance to build into targeted value messages
- Develop lead and coach team members and direct reports (if applicable)
- Solid working knowledge of pharmaco-economic principles
- Solid knowledge of payer mindset and motivation in respective local context
- Proven track record of success on specific market access success experience within respective local context is preferable
- 1-2 years of specific market access experience within an international context (Regional and or HQ) will be highly appreciated
- Strong oral and written presentation skills in Greek and English
- Negotiation skills
- Strategic planning and health policy experience
- Ability to analyze and interpret the data
