About the Third Party Risk Senior Lead: 

The Third Party Risk Senior Lead aligns into the wider Third Party Risk Team and is responsible for leading and partnering with Internal Wise teams to provide robust guidelines and practices for governance and regulatory compliance with respect to the risks associated with the onboarding ongoing management review cycles and offboarding relating to the provision of Third Parties Banking Services and IntraGroup Arrangements.

This senior position involves strategizing implementing and overseeing the TPRM program in alignment with industry standards and regulatory expectations. The Third Party Risk Senior Lead contributes to developing maintaining and enhancing the comprehensive TPRM framework and policies to ensure alignment with industry best practices regulatory requirements and the Wises Enterprise Risk management framework. 

This role involves leading and growing both global and regional specific resources providing strategic support and fostering a culture of third-party risk awareness throughout the organisation. The Senior Lead needs to work in close coordination with the rest of the TPRM Leadership team and the Third Party Management team at large. 

The Senior Lead provides expert guidance to senior stakeholders coordinates cross-team projects and contributes to the strategic alignment of TPRM strategies with the companys overall risk management and business objectives.

This role will operate both as individual contributor and owner of aspects of the TPRM programme and as team contributor for items that are delivered by other members of the TPRM leadership team or delivered as part of the Team.

Note: This role will initially concentrate on designing and embedding the IntraGroup Risk Framework. This involves reviewing the current processes for onboarding managing and offboarding internal entities. The role will establish standards and necessary activities collaborating with Country Managers to ensure alignment in completing these activities. Additionally the role will lead the Intragroup Governance forum which oversees all IntraGroup SLAs with the aim of further developing the forum.

TPR Senior Lead duties and responsibilities:

Regulations / Industry Standards

• Strategizing implementing and overseeing the TPRM program in alignment with industry standards and regulatory expectations.

• Drives the development maintenance and enhancing of the comprehensive TPRM framework and policies to ensure alignment with industry best practices regulatory requirements and the Wises Enterprise Risk management framework. 

• Develop maintain and update the TPRM framework and policies to align with industry best practices regulatory requirements and the organisations risk appetite. 

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant outsourcing regulations laws and industry standards affecting third-party risk management. Ensure the TPRM program aligns with regulatory requirements and best practices and contributes to designing a strategic foundation for building processes and operationalizing relevant regulatory expectations.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Work in close coordination with the rest of the TPRM Leadership team and the Third Party Management team at large. 

TPRM Controls & Processes

• Contribute to strategic oversight and continuously audit current processes to optimise third-party management processes together with the rest of the TRPM leadership. The goal is to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of controls identify areas for improvement and develop improvement plans. 

Risk Management Culture

• Build and embed a culture of awareness and continuous improvement within the third party risk management function. 

• Leading and growing both global and regional specific resources providing strategic support and fostering a culture of third-party risk awareness throughout the organisation.

• Build lead and mentor a high-performing team of third-party risk specialists both globally and regionally providing guidance and professional development opportunities to team members. Conduct regular reviews and address performance issues.

Projects / Audits

• Leads and coordinates cross-team projects audits and inspections related to TPRM scope.

Subject Matter Expertise

• Provide thought leadership direction guidance and subject matter expertise and provide insightful reports on TPRM to the rest of the TPRM leadership and the Wise Leadership team. Foster a culture of third-party risk awareness across the organisation.

• Provides expert guidance to senior stakeholders coordinates cross-team projects and contributes to the strategic alignment of TPRM strategies with the companys overall risk management and business objectives.

Continuous Improvement

• Design  procedures risk assessment methodologies and continuous monitoring processes to ensure the TPRM framework effectively integrates into the organisations overall risk management strategy.

TPRM Strategy

• Mature and evolve the Wises TPRM program in alignment with strategic guidance from Wise Leadership and global regulatory expectations. Assess the complexity of program maturity and identify the needs for improvement.

• Ensure that TPRM strategies are aligned with the organisations overall risk management framework and strategic objectives. This involves collaborating with 2nd line of defence stakeholders Leadership team and  key teams to ensure the third-party risk considerations into the broader organisational risk profile and strategic planning processes.

The Third party Risk Senior Lead is reporting to the global Head of Third Party Risk.
