Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team in Stirling United Kingdom. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to our kitchens success in a Monday to Friday role.

  • Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards set by the head chef and sous chef ensuring consistent quality and presentation
  • Manage your designated station overseeing the production of all assigned dishes
  • Maintain high food safety and sanitation standards at all times
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and efficient operations
  • Assist in menu development offering creative input and suggestions for improvement
  • Ensure proper stock rotation and minimise food waste
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen particularly in your designated area
  • Mentor and support junior kitchen staff as needed
  • Adapt to changing menu requirements and seasonal ingredients
  • Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Chef de Partie in a professional kitchen
  • Comprehensive knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices with relevant certifications (e.g. Food Hygiene Certificate)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced high-pressure environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Creativity in dish presentation and flavour combinations
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing menu requirements and seasonal ingredients
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and work in a hot kitchen environment
  • Passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Professional Cookery or equivalent qualification (preferred)
