Our client an established and regarded financial services firm is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their growing team. This a new position created to support the growing needs of the finance and accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a track record of demonstrating sound and critical thinking and have a logical approach to their work. Strong use of MS Excel will be required for this position.Reporting to the senior leadership team duties will include but not be limited to;
- Full cycle accounting including quarterly reporting
- Preparation of financial statements
- Monitor both AR and AP balances while also ensuring payments are documented and accurate
- Prepare JEs for investor transactions
- Bank reconciliation and supporting schedules financial statements and tax returns
