Preferred Care at Home of Champlain Valley is currently seeking a Homemaker for the Greater Burlington area. The position offers a competitive compensation of $22.00 per hour and weekly pay.

Description of the Role

As a Homemaker you will play a vital role in providing essential support to individuals within their own homes. Your primary responsibility will be to assist clients with their daily activities and ensure their comfort safety and well-being. This may include helping with personal care meal preparation light housekeeping medication reminders and companionship.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care such as bathing grooming and dressing
• Prepare meals according to dietary needs and preferences
• Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and organizing
• Remind clients to take medication and assist with medication management
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and patient nature
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Reliable transportation
• Must pass a thorough background check

COMPANION: Duties for companions could include supervision/Monitor of Activities. Assist with Phone calls/ communication Read and Socialization. Escort to Recreational Activity accompany to Appt. (Medical Business) Accompany to Walk.
