Job Description
Vertiv is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Logistics Scheduler to join our team in Westerville OH. This role is critical in coordinating and maintaining production and logistics schedules across multiple manufacturing sites within the Canada organization. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with advanced planning and scheduling tools such as Oracle Alice Cyberplan and e2Open ensuring alignment with customer requirements and driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop manage and optimize production and logistics schedules using Oracle Alice Cyberplan and e2Open to meet customer delivery requirements.
- Coordinate logistics activities across multiple sites ensuring seamless material flow and timely production execution.
- Monitor production progress and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts or delays leveraging real-time data and analytics.
- Update schedules dynamically to reflect changes in capacity material availability and customer priorities.
- Implement corrective actions to mitigate risks and ensure on-time in-full (OTIF) delivery performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across time zones to align production plans with supply chain and customer service objectives.
- Analyze production and logistics data to identify trends inefficiencies and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Support and drive strategic initiatives from planning through execution ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Facilitate strategic meetings and contribute to problem-solving and process improvement discussions.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement standardization and best practice sharing across the organization.
- Track and report progress on key initiatives addressing issues and ensuring timely completion.
- Seeking 2 years of logistics scheduling coordination and production scheduling in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment.
- Proficiency with Oracle Alice Cyberplan and e2Open or similar advanced planning systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional and cross-regional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
