This position helps make gospel teachings resources or services accessible to all in a simple and affordable way supporting the mission of the Church. This position provides travel processes systems and tools support for operational functions that span the entire Church Travel office.
Technical support for Travel Services systems including maintenance and coordination with the ICS technical team of analysts project managers developers and maintenance programmers.
User support including: provisioning cascading hardware supply and addressing urgent issues as they occur.
Organize coordinate and oversee trainees and the Travel University curriculum and instruction program.
Ad hoc and scheduled reporting of travel data for operations and management.
Support of travel project and product managers to facilitate product user acceptance and execute implementation schedules.
Address urgent issues as they occur.
BS degree in a business-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Up to 2 years of corporate travel industry experience.
Experience with various travel office tools such as Amadeus Travcom Microsoft Office GVM AeTM eTravel AeTB Grasp Windward Reports Adobe Professional and Power BI.
Excellent communication skills and ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with business partners.
Analytical problem solving skills.
Ability to resolve complex computer and communication problems.
Ability to take ownership of a problem from beginning to end for a favorable resolution.
Exceptional organizational abilities.
Ability to train travel agents in the use of systems tools processes and procedures.
