Who are we looking for

We are looking for an Environmental Engineer to join our EHS Team in our St. Paul office and provide consulting services for a wide range of environmental projects and industries.

Working with an energetic and high performing team this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

• Display exceptional attention to detail
• Have strong organizational skills
• Demonstrate willingness to learn new skills
• Field sampling and inspections.
• Evaluating environmental data reviewing and communicating environmental regulatory requirements.
• Assisting in the preparation of environmental documents to include TRI/EPCRA reports SPCC plans SWPPPs air emission reports contingency plans and NPDES permit required plans.

What you will bring to the Team

• B.S. degree in Environmental Engineering Environmental Science or related field
• 0-3 years experience
• Detail oriented with the ability to balance a diverse and changing workload
• Critical thinking and problem solving ability to identify multiple solutions to a problem
• Willingness to potentially respond to call outs during non-routine working hours
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time
• Positive attitude very strong interpersonal skills
• Establishing and maintaining harmonious working relationships with superiors co-workers and clients effective collaborators are welcome
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet project timelines
• Self-motivated and willingness to work in a team in a fast-paced environment
• Valid drivers license
• Ability to perform physically demanding work
• OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification is a plus

Benefits:

• 401K - Employees are eligible to participate on the first day of the month following 3 months of service.
• Paid time off Our PTO benefit is designed to provide eligible employees with a period of rest and relaxation sick and personal time throughout the year. PTO starts at 16 days per year and increases with years of service.
• Holiday Pay - Holiday pay is provided for eligible employees. GHD observes 9 holidays per year. Holiday pay will be based on the regular set schedule for the employee.
• Wellness Benefit- Regular full-term employees are eligible to participate in the wellness reimbursement program. GHD will reimburse 50% of the cost of the following to maximum of $250.00 reimbursement annually for such items as: Health club membership fees Home exercise equipment purchases Bicycles Race run & marathon entrance fees Smoking cessation programs Weight loss programs ( Watchers Jenny Craig) Fitbits and Fitness Tracking devices

Salary Range: $60000 - $75000 based on experience and location.
