As a Prime Government Contractor for a U.S Army we are currently searching for a talented professional Senior Data Architect in Quantico VA.
About the Job
In this opportunity the objective of this new CMS enterprise environment is to provide US Army LE stakeholders with the enhanced capability to rapidly and efficiently manage a variety of LE and Criminal Intelligence (CrimIntel) functions as well as a broader range of senior executive reporting requirements. We will provide IT support services to help DACID operate maintain and secure the existing CIMS environment in support of the Army LE mission under DACIDs expanding role in the law enforcement community.
Responsible for developing data warehousing blueprints evaluating hardware and software platforms and integrating systems. Evaluates reusability of current data for additional analyses. Works in a data warehouse environment that includes data design database architecture metadata and repository creation. Designs and builds relational databases performs data access analysis design and archive/recovery design and implementation. Reviews and develops object and data models and the metadata repository to structure the data for better management and quicker access. Requires knowledge of cybersecurity privacy principles computer networking concepts protocols network security methodologies and risk management framework. Skilled in maintaining databases (backup restore delete data transaction log files) and optimizing database performance. Knowledgeable in database management systems query languages table relationships view data mining and data warehousing principles. Requires skills and knowledge of physical and virtual data storage media. Ability to effectively communicate with others.
Job Requirements
MS/MA in Computer Science with concentration in overall data management programming technology architecture and 10 years experience OR BA/BS in Computer Science with concentration in data management programming technology architecture and 12 years experience.
Top Secret Clearance is required for this position
Must have one of the following Microsoft Certifications:
- Azure Database Administrator Associate Data
- Science Council of America Senior Data Scientist (SDS)
Should also have at least one (1) role-based Microsoft Certifications:
- Identity and Access Administrator Associate
- Azure Security Engineer Associate
- Azure Network Engineer Associate
- Azure Security Engineer Associate
- Cybersecurity Architect Expert
- Security Operations Analyst Associate
- Cybersecurity Architect
- Azure Network Engineer Associate
- Azure Data Fundamentals
- Power BI Data Analyst Associate
- Power Platform Fundamentals
