Job Description

THE OPPORTUNITY:
Under the direction of the Shipping Supervisor this position is responsible for assisting in the shipping of orders at Lakeshirts.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am - 3:30pm
Pay: $18/hr
Essential Job Functions Receive Label Order Entry Invoice Tape Load Deliver
- Receives orders and determines pick-up or ship status
- Upon checking for special needs determines methods of shipping (Air COD UPS PP RPS Fed-Ex)
- Labels boxes with POs or packing slips and groups designs if necessary for minimums
- Enters orders in computer records tracking numbers and applies UPS labels
- Invoices orders
- Tapes boxes
- Delivers final shipments to the UPS office if necessary to meet deadlines
- Loads pick-up orders for the customers
- Reads and understands work orders
- Prepares and schedules LTL shipments
- Generates customs invoices for international shipments
- Keeps work area clean and orderly
- Organizes work flow
- Follows safety practices. Identifies problems and resolves safety issues as they occur in accordance to OSHA standards
- Works actively with others to get the job done
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Computer Experience Detail-Oriented Team Player
- High school education required
- Valid drivers license required
- Computer experience required (Word Excel)
- Ability to work well in a team
- Must be reliable responsible and take direction well
- Must be able to perform repetitive tasks for several hours
- Must be able to lift over 25 lbs frequently
- Ability to stand for 8-10 hours/day
- Previous shipping experience preferred but not required
