Platform Property Care has a great opportunityfor an experiencedMulti Skill Trades Plumberto join our busy team as a Bathroom Fitter and help us maintain and improve our homes in Worcestershire and Gloucestershire.
What could you be doing
You will excel at fitting bathrooms and you will be ensuring our customers homes are maintained and repaired to a great standard.
Based in Worcestershire and Gloucestershire and covering properties in Evesham Pershore Cheltenham and Gloucester plumbing will be yourfocusbut experience in other trades willdefinitely be needed to help this team achieve their programme of delivering circa 100 bathrooms a year.
We want somebody who can:
A team player youll be hard working and keen to learn with a can-do attitude. Youll be working in peoples homes so youll need to be friendly and approachable with good communication also need to be organised and recognise the importance of delivering good customer service.
You will need to have proven experience of complete fitting and installing bathrooms and wet rooms including all associated trades needed to do so - excluding gas and electric (carpentry plastering minor brickwork decoration tiling) as this will be your daily job. You will be able to carry out pre and post inspections and take full control of job completion including materials and liaising with customers ensuring right first-time delivery.
We want someone who has:
- NVQ L2 Plumbing
- Experience of working as a plumber in the building trade either as a Plumber or as a multi-skilled Plumber
- You must be used to fitting bathrooms and completed many these in the past; this will be your main job and this is essential for you to be considered for this role
- Experience of working for a Social Landlord housing association or council
- You will be a true Multi Skill Trades Operative with associated trade skills of carpentry plaster patching decorating and wall tiling.
- Experience of delivering multi-trade work
- Good organisational skills
- Experience of keeping jobs on track
- The drive to ensure works are completed quickly and efficiently
- Full driving Licence- a Van and Fuel card are provided
- As you will be working within Customers homes this role requires a DBS check.
There is also the opportunity to earn additional from being on the out of hours rota as required.
This role is for a team based in the following towns so you will need to live close to or in these areas: Evesham Pershore Bishops Cleeve Tewkesbury and Gloucester.
