Reporting to the Inventory Manager you will be responsible for maintaining stock counts overseeing and contributing to inventory accuracy shrinkage and waste management across multiple locations and multiple regions. This role ensures compliance with inventory best practices develops control frameworks and collaborates with cross-functional teams to enhance stock accuracy and operational efficiency.
What youll be doing:
Inventory Accuracy & Shrinkage Control
- Prepare and execute the annual stock count plan ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Perform root cause analysis for high shrinkage stores and implement corrective measures.
- Track and follow up on inventory accuracy-related issues with internal stakeholders.
- Work closely with related departments to resolve inventory discrepancies and implement necessary actions.
- Maintain accurate stock reporting by overseeing and validating Power BI dashboards.
- Ensure all stock counts are executed per schedule and aligned with operational needs.
- Implement shrinkage control action plans in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Manage damage write-offs restoration warehouse activities and system reconciliations.
- Ensure UID clean-up and stock adjustments post-count activities.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Compliance
- Act as the primary point of contact for inventory-related concerns between operations finance and business units.
- Liaise with operations teams for smooth stock count execution.
- Work closely with finance teams to process approval notes and stock count adjustments.
- Coordinate with Loss Prevention (LP) teams on investigation reports and follow-up actions.
- Create and maintain clear communication channels with stakeholders to address inventory-related concerns.
- Prepare regular reporting and share and discuss with the stakeholders for improvement needs.
Special Assignments & Ad-Hoc Tasks
- Lead and execute special stock count projects as per management requirements.
- Provide periodic updates on critical locations and non-compliance issues.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance stock accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Support businesses for any merger & acquisitions system migrations SOP changes / implementations in terms of inventory management part.
In order to succeed in the role you should ideally have:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field.
- Project Management certificate (PMP Lean Six Sigma Agile)
- 5 years of experience in inventory control stock audits and shrinkage management.
- Experienced working and handling team for min 3 years for Cycle Count and Perpetual Inventory experience.
- Ability to handle team of 4 members for Stock Count and compliance control as per defined SOPs.
- Proficient in English.
