Purchase & Vendor Development
Position Title :Purchase & Vendor Development
Business : OEMs/Tier1
Department/ Function : SCM/ Vendor Development
Designation/ Grade : Sr. Engineer/AM
Entity/
Location :Gurugram
Experiences :4-8 Yrs
Preferred Industry: Automotive- Mechanical /Plastic
Key Responsibilities
Identifying and sourcing vendors: Finding new vendors and evaluating their capabilities quality and financial stability
Building relationships: Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and communicating regularly with them
Ensuring quality: Ensuring that vendors meet the companys quality and performance standards Monitoring performance: Evaluating vendor performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and identifying opportunities for improvement
Developing strategies: Designing and implementing strategies to identify and nurture potential vendors
Conducting audits: Conducting vendor audits and due diligence processes
Working with other departments: Working with other departments to ensure that the companys supply chain is efficient and effective
Description
Managing commodity of Plastic parts Etc.
New Source Evaluation & Development.
Doing Technical reviews along with Engg. Team.
Cost Approval from management.
On time Development of parts as per desired quality standards
. Getting parts cleared from QA & getting PPAP lots & approvals
plastic,sourcing,oem,performance monitoring,vendor development,quality assurance,vendors,relationship management,cost evaluation,audit processes,purchase management,automotive,technical review
