We are looking for a skilled Associate Manager - Compliance to join our dynamic finance team The role involves managing corporate secretarial and compliance activities including conducting Board & General meetings regulatory filings with MCA & RBI and maintaining statutory records under the Companies Act 2013. The candidate will ensure compliance with legal frameworks assist in RBI compliance for NBFCs and collaborate with internal teams on compliance matters. The position requires strong communication drafting skills attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks independently.
Responsibilities
- Manage Corporate Secretarial and Compliance activities including but not limited to conducting of Board & General meetings regulatory filings with MCA & RBI.
- Ensure Compliance with Companies Act 2013 and rules FEMA rules as amended from time to time.
- Maintenance of Statutory records including but not limited to Statutory Registers under the Companies Act 2013 Minutes book.
- Draft Secretarial records independently.
- Ensure Filing of necessary returns with RBI within deadlines.
- Assisting in overall RBI Compliances for base layer NBFCs.
- Collaborate with internal team members to provide guidance on compliance related matters
- Assist in review of Contracts maintaining repository of Contracts.
- Conducting of research on Compliance related matters and monitoring necessary amendments to the Companies Act 2013 and RBI regulations.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years as a CS preferably from a NBFC/Fintech background and shall handle Compliance/CS roles.
- Excellent communication and drafting skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Ability to manage complex documentation
