Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Are you a driven mission focused self-motivated individual with a passion for connecting with people and contributing to business growth Join our dynamic team as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) and play a critical role in our Business-to-Government (B2G) business development strategy.
While this is not a direct sales position the SDR is essential to understanding and nurturing Business-to-Government (B2G) client relationships. Your primary responsibility will be to gather document and update key information related to local state and federal clients future purchasing intentions enabling our sales team to meet customer needs effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Successful SDRs engage potential and existing clients by making 30 outbound calls per day (3-4 per hour).
- Develop and build strong rapport with clients and maintain professional ongoing relationships.
- Schedule and conduct product demonstrations via MS Teams; explain features and benefits.
- Collect and document critical information about the clients future purchasing needs and intentions.
- SDRs diligently use our Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to organize and record all client interactions events and the next steps.
- Work independently to manage your schedule and meet daily expectations.
Requirements
Required Skills and Attributes:
- Excellent Verbal Communication: Ability to engage in meaningful conversations with clients and internal teams.
- Presentation Skills: Schedule and demonstrate product features via MS Teams / Zoom.
- Strong Written Communication: Document discussions and events clearly and effectively in a structured format.
- Detail-Oriented Consistency: Maintain accurate and organized records in CRM systems.
- Self-Organization: Effectively manage time and tasks to meet daily goals.
- Independence: Stay motivated to achieve objectives without constant oversight.
- Passion for Growth: Demonstrate a commitment to personal and professional development.
Desired Experience:
- Previous experience in marketing sales or a related field.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce HubSpot or ZoHo.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook Word Excel).
- Experience conducting online seminars or product demonstration is desired.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven self-motivation to achieve both individual and team goals.
- Knowledge and understanding of Business-To-Government (B2G) sales or procurement is desired.
